There’s something magic about Byron Bay weddings — the warm breeze, the golden light, and that effortless feeling of elegance meets ease. Jade and Connor’s celebration at the stunning Villa Riad was all of that and more. Think: modern garden party vibes, statement styling, and a bridal party that looked like they stepped out of a magazine.
Right from the start, the day had this unspoken energy. It was filled with laughter, champagne pops, and so much love among friends and family. Jade, radiant in a minimalist gown and soft, sculptural veil, was surrounded by her girls in champagne silk dresses — every detail felt intentional yet relaxed. The palette was refined and tonal, with creamy roses by Pikt Flowers adding a touch of softness throughout the day.
The ceremony kicked off at 2:30pm under perfect Byron skies, with The Events Lounge pulling together every detail to a tee. The styling was a seamless extension of the Villa Riad aesthetic — clean, natural, and elevated. Guests lounged on linen couches under umbrellas, barefoot kids ran across the grass, and everyone leaned into the kind of relaxed celebration that only Byron can offer.
Later in the day, speeches took place barefoot on the lawn, with the crowd gathered around under soft light and string lines. It was the kind of moment you want to bottle — real, unrehearsed, and deeply felt.
From Peppe’s Pizza serving woodfired slices to DJ Will Connel filling the air with perfect summer anthems, this wedding didn’t miss a beat. Madi Wolfe worked her magic on makeup, and Socially Wed captured the movement and behind-the-scenes joy as it unfolded.
Jade and Connor — thank you for having me there to witness and capture such a stunning, joy-filled day. Villa Riad has never looked so good.
